Meat Free Spaghetti with Lentils

Lentils and summer squash are an excellent addition to this meat free spaghetti. Try to use 100% whole grain noodles for 60% more nutrients than "enriched" noodles or try an edamame noodle for an even bigger source of protein.

Ingredients
1 onion
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
4 small peppers
1 pkg mushrooms
2 tbsp garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ cup cooked lentils
½ cup vegetable broth
1 jar pasta sauce
1 package spaghetti noodles
Directions
Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, onion, mushrooms and peppers. Stir for two minutes. Add the remainder of ingredients except pasta and simmer for 30 minutes. Cook pasta in a separate pot per directions. Combine and Enjoy!
